Illustration Friday: Mind

She carries the regenerative light of God, transforming the predatory and fearful natures of the creatures until they live at peace with each other, "one in heart and mind." (This phrase originally described the very early followers of Jesus, who freely shared their possessions with those in need.)

This is the first picture up to sell as prints on my Society Six shop. Click here to take a look. I'll be putting more pictures in as I make high-definition scans of them.

I would like to apologize to my email subscribers who received two blog posts with this art in their inboxes. I attempted to blog this picture yesterday, and accidentally published it before I was done. I fixed up the post a bit, then tried to share it with Illustration Friday, but IF wouldn't let me on for some reason, so I just gave up and deleted the post to redo today.

    1. Thank you, Linda. I ended up paying more for the scan than I wanted, but the print shop were extremely helpful and made sure the colors came out true. The price is making me think hard about how to make my are more easily reproducible, though.

    1. Thank you Aunt Deanna. Unfortunately, there's not much to see there yet--just this picture in a few sizes. I hope to make it more interesting over the next few weeks, though.

  3. Hi Lisa. On society6 in which category is your drawing and how is your name listed? I couldn't find it when I looked today.

    1. Unfortunately, Society Six is set up so people who aren't well known don't show up easily directly from their site. To get to my art there, site you will need to click onto my link, where I say "Click here." I know that doesn't show up very well. It's just a little lighter in tone than the surrounding text, so its not that noticeable. I wanted to make it show up in blue, but blogger refused to change it for some reason. I'll try again.
